Opioids

Why it happens
Both depress the central nervous system, so the effects add up. Cannabis can also lower opioid tolerance in some patients.
What it means for you
Mild slowing of breathing is plausible when the two are combined. At the same time, some patients use cannabis to bring their opioid dose down.
